Property Rights (Behind Enemy Lines)

Here is an informal discussion I had with Gary Hunt about property rights. It is now available as a free downloadable podcast (Backup copy).

Episode Description

There are a lot of misunderstandings when it comes to property rights. Where does one man’s freedom of movement impose upon another man’s castle? Exploring this critical topic is essential for determining how exactly we should all treat each other for the purpose of respecting property itself, which is simply a consequence of having the liberty and life to justly acquire, maintain, and improve those portions of the natural world all around us.

Some topics broached are the foreigners scampering across the southern border, the right to travel, trespass, land surveying, the homesteading principle, and the tragedy of the commons.
